For 21 years, Don Brien Gatewood has led several nonprofit initiatives in Detroit and Washington DC. Gatewood has led large teams, program operations, strategic planning, accounting, communications, compliance regulations, fundraising for several organizations including American Red Cross and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit and Washington and the Center for Workforce Inclusion.
Gatewood is currently co-founder and CEO of The Initiative Baltimore, a Professional Leadership Consultant, and the host of the podcast, Leadership and Professional Development with Don Gatewood.
He completed his bachelor’s studies at Wayne State University and master’s degree at University of Maryland. Gatewood also has a Certified Workforce Development Professional, DTM in Toastmasters International, Board of Director at Oglethorpe, Labor Management Committee, and a Contract Negotiator.
